Sweeps Information

Only WGC members are permitted to play on regular Wednesday play days.


Sign Up online by noon on Tuesday.  Members may make up their own foursome or threesome, depending upon the scheduled game or may sign up with any group who still needs players.  You are welcome to call the tournament chairpersons, if you decide at the last minute to play on a Wednesday.


Each participant will receive an email on Tuesday providing starting holes, names of those in each 3-some or 4-some, the game information and current handicap to use that day.  


If a member must cancel after Monday, it is her responsibility to call the Pro Shop and speak to a live person. Also call at least one member of the group you were to play with. 


Check the LOP.org website or call the Pro Shop (530) 268-8337 for potential rain or frost delays.


Members are to pay for their weekly sweeps in advance (the Monday before Wednesday play day).  Make the check payable to the LOPWGC  for the amount of $40. Please write 'sweeps' in the memo area.  Drop the check in the box labeled 'Women 18ers' located in the Pro Shop.  


Currently the weekly sweep amount is $4 ($1 to the general fund and $3 to the sweeps winners fund for that week).  Members will be notified via email when their sweeps balance falls below $10.

Winners of the weekly sweeps will receive a gift card.  Gift cards are awarded 3 times per year; April 30th, August 31, December 31.  If a player's winnings are under $10 the winning amount will be carried over. Results of the Weekly Sweeps are posted on this website at Weekly Sweeps Results.
