Since 1901, the NCGA has served the golfers of Northern California. The NCGA supports and promotes golf in the region as a way of helping golfers better enjoy the benefits of the game. This includes providing services such as handicap management, course ratings, tournament and event oversight for all levels of golfers, and member communication regarding regional news and events and special member discounts. Women’s Legacy clubs open their course and hospitality to you for merely the cost of food and cart – no green fees! It’s an excellent way to experience courses you might not normally have an opportunity to play. It’s also a great way to meet members from other clubs. You can choose to be paired with a friend. Handicap Index is 54.0 or less.
Play Days are one day events with various formats. They are open to all NCGA women members.
Women’s Play Days are one day events scheduled and conducted within each of our geographic areas, by volunteer Tournament coordinators. Each Area has autonomy on how they wish to run their Play Days. That’s why you might see individual play, team play, 4-ball (partners) games, and other fun events. Each Area conducts 4-6 events per year. Play Days are open to all members, regardless of where you live and is for women golfers of all skill levels. Play Days are grouped by Area.
