LOP Course Etiquette

The Golf Committee has asked the golf clubs to make sure their members are aware of the rules and appropriate Etiquette on the course. The LOPWGC Board has decided to support this recommendation to help maintain the quality of our course. Thanks for taking the time to read this and making our course better.

The member agrees to the following rules:

•  Member will adhere to the course 45 degree rule. Carts should not be driving up the fairways. 

•  Member will repair all divots on the fairway and greens.

• Member will attempt to complete the round in 4 ½ hours or less.

• Member will not drive her golf cart beyond the 50 yard marker. The member will drive their cart 90 degrees to the cart path rather than angle her cart from the 50 yard marker to the cart path.

• Once play is complete, the member will drive forward to the nearest street to return to the Sports Lounge, rather than drive through the course interrupting players still completing their round.

• Alternate 9: If there are members directly behind your group, the member will continue to drive down the path towards Lakeshore South to move forward to Hole 9. The member will not drive back down the path towards Hole 9.

• Member agrees to call the pro shop if she is unable to play.

• All members of the Lake of the Pines Women's Golf Club (LOPWGC) shall be respectful of Lake of the Pines employees and each other as pertains to the Lake of the Pines CC&R's.
